Hello from the Big Flat White!!
With limited social distractions up here at Summit, there are regular movie showings (I have seen Sandlot, Space Balls, Anchorman, and the Mighty Ducks so far - Twilight is tonight) and different venues vie for your attention. The Big House has a screen, but you don't want to annoy other people. The Rec tent has a lot of space and is very dark, but the sound isn't synced up, and SMOBILE is smaller, but everything else works pretty well.
We were trapped on station on Sunday due to low winds and north winds, so it was a good day to hang out, play some cribbage, and catch up on emails from my other job. Today we were able to get off station to do some more calibration work and we are very close to being done with out off station work.
First sunset is tomorrow (I believe the Sun will set for about 14 minutes) and it is only 12 days until I leave Summit Station. Time has flown by.......
