Gourmet food by the lake

I am still in Kanger, but it looks like I will be heading up to Summit a day early on Monday (weather and aircraft permitting), so it is almost time to prepare for that travel.

It was Spencer's (my roommate) last day in Greenland, so we booked to go to restaurant Roklubben on Lake Tasersuatsiaq for dinner. You have to book before 3 pm otherwise the restaurant won't open. They send a green bus down to pick you up and then take you to the lake for a delicious 3 course meal. Then they take you home again. It was a wonderful meal, we got to see some arctic fox cubs on the way up, and there were mosquitoes everywhere.

Also, everyone in Kanger waves. It is a 15 minute walk to town from where we are staying in KISS and every car driver that passes you will give you a wave. Also, somehow the mosquitoes know when it is night time even though the sun doesn't set. People say it is because the wind drops, but I suspect it is just that they are evil.
