Wind and Friday night bingo

Sunday is a day-off on station (not normally for the science teams, but for everyone else), so people get together, drink home brewed beer and whisky, and play games. Last night was a very rowdy game of bingo followed by a dance party. I was not victorious, but it was a lots of fun.

A storm has been blowing in for the past few days, so we have lots of drifting snow that needs to be moved around to dig out our equipment. Last week was pretty good in terms of calibration data and equipment tested, so we are planning on a relaxing day. There will be a little digging, some of our batteries need to be re-charged, and we need to plan next week, but the goal is to stay warm and not work too hard.
