Almost time to leave

The C17 is broken - very dramatic I know. Turns out it needs a new battery.

So it looks like I will be in Greenland for an additional day. They say they are going to try to fly here and back again in a single day, but that sounds overly ambitious. We shall see - I just want the plane to be here so that we know we have a way home.

We went to the MusKox Restaurant last night (me, Christoph, Nils, Erin, and Bailey). We had a very amusing waiter who enjoyed poking fun at us. We all had the Caribou (which was amazing) and some apple crumble.

We ended the night playing some football on the local astro-turf. Not sure when my altitude training endurance will kick in, but it wasn't yesterday.

It is a waiting game today, but I'll be home soon enough.
