Final Saturday night talent show

Less than a week left on the ice (assuming the plan is able to land next Saturday) and last night was a talent show. There was art, poetry, some improv, and lots of singing. They are a talented bunch and very generous with their applause. I have been given the nickname Rocket Man, so naturally I was required to give me best Elton John impression.

It was a fun evening, with a supporting cast of homebrewed beer and the remains of the alcohol that the Science team brought up.

We are done with calibration data. The hole we are using is going to be bulldozed on Monday so that the heavy machine operators can finish building the winter berm (they make a raised up area to store equipment and summer buildings). We just need to put things in crates, label which ones are being bermed and which ones head back to Chicago, and find all of the equipment loaned to us by the NSF.

A different science team from a difference Neutrino experiment appear on Thursday, so we have been asked to clear out of our workspace by then. The weather looks like it should be good (no storms or strong winds), so that shouldn't be a problem.

We do need to do some Ground Pulse Radar at some point in the next few days, but that should be simple enough. For now, it is a lazy Sunday.
